Mysterious UFOs travelling in a “spiral” pattern have been reported by social media users across the United States and Europe this week, sparking intrigue and speculation about unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP).
Witnesses in various locations, including Ukraine, Finland, Arizona, and California, described seeing strange objects in the night sky emitting an unusual haze.
Interest in UFOs surged last year after experts testified before a US Congress committee about the potential national security threat posed by unidentified aerial phenomena.
On X, formerly Twitter, multiple users shared footage and images of the sightings, expressing confusion and curiosity about the mysterious objects.
One user described seeing a “super blurry white light” moving horizontally before suddenly disappearing, prompting speculation and questions about its origin.
“It then goes straight up and FREAKING [DISAPPEARS]. Checked, and there we NO rocket launches or anything like that (either way a rocket would’ve emitted a different color light). I was able to get this much on camera. SOMEONE EXPLAIN PLZ,” one user said.
In response to the posts, others claimed to have witnessed similar phenomena in different locations, adding to the mystery surrounding the sightings.
One user in Arizona said they saw the “very same thing”.
“Came from the west, it hovered and looked like it was surrounded in a fog, then suddenly just disappeared into itself… JUST like this video… I’m SO GLAD others got it on camera!”, they wrote.
Some described the objects as surrounded by a fog-like haze, despite the clear night skies.
“UFO sighting in Santa Barbara. Clear skies, you can even see the stars in the video but the light was omitting some sort of haze around it,” one user said.
Another person added: “UFO in Palm Springs tonight. Just recorded this on an iPhone 14 in Palm Springs with no cloud cover whatsoever. Then it vanishes.”
Reports of similar sightings emerged from different parts of the world, including Finland and Ukraine.
In Ukraine, the non-profit Alpha Centauri project suggested that a mysterious white flash spotted in the sky may simply be the exhaust spiral from a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch from California’s Vandenberg Space Force Base, but this has not been yet confirmed.
