The 17-year-old is the youngest entrant in this year’s competition and is the second Australian in a row to represent Cyprus after Andrew Lambrou in 2023.

Lambrou finished 12th with his song Break A Broken Heart.

Speaking to ABC Radio after the first Semi-Final, Kapsis said was “crazy” to have 260 million people watching her perform.

“It’s a really great feeling.”

Why is an Australian representing Cyprus at Eurovision?

Kapsis is eligible to compete for Cyprus due to her heritage.
